Mental Purgatory

This is my attempt at starting a blog. Does it have a topic? No. I mostly just wanted a place to consolidate random thoughts I have about random things and this seemed like a good way to solidify them. Plus, I had started reading a friend’s blog and found it interesting so I figured I would try the same.

To give you a feel for who I am here’s my five minute pitch. My name’s Martin Fister. I’m a computer science masters student at RPI and I’ll be breaking out into the free world in May. My interests are web design, R&B music, movies and literature. I have my own web site R&B Haven and I write both fiction and non-fiction. I tell you all this now because all of these topics will probably surface at least once on here.

I plan on updating every Sunday and have plenty of ideas so I feel like it won’t be a blog that includes a post that says “I’m going to start a blog,” and then one other post which states “I’m going to eventually update my blog.” So check back and if anything ever strikes your fancy, feel free to comment/criticize/call me bad names.
